Land that has been vacant for 15 years could become a destination for small business owners to rent or own their own space.
The Chino Hills Planning Commission on Jan. 17 recommended approval of a 20-acre business park center called “Bizpark Chino Hills” on Pomona Rincon Road, facing Chino Hills High School.
The item will come before the City Council to approve a change in zoning and to terminate the original development agreement for the Heritage Professional Center that called for a hotel, hospital, and medical offices.
The new plan, proposed by H.G. Fenton Company, will include commercial space for offices, showrooms, small warehouse and assembly spaces, and retail.
