REDDING, Calif. — It’s National Small Business Week and the Redding Chamber of Commerce is recognizing the efforts of local small businesses and their importance.
From Tuesday, May 2, through Thursday, May 4, the chamber will be holding events around the city. On Tuesday, locals can get a free coffee at Old Shasta Coffee Company on Eureka Way by liking, commenting and sharing the chamber’s social media post. On Wednesday, it’s a barbecue at Bay Alarm on Larkspur Lane, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. And, on Thursday, a toast to small businesses will be held at Redding’s Fall River Brewing Co., with the chamber providing free beers for all in attendance.
Located downtown, the chamber has noticed, firsthand, Redding’s revitalization efforts. But with storefronts still needing to be filled, they say it’s important to show possible future entrepreneurs that Redding can and will support small business….
